Administrative Assistant(Part-Time)
English Lutheran Church is hiring an Administrative Assistant - join our team today!
The Administrative Assistant will serve as receptionist, provide office administrative support for members, staff, and visitors, and foster a welcoming environment for all who visit English Lutheran Church. The schedule will be worked out with the Office Manager, although required work hours include Tuesday afternoons (year-round). Hours may vary based on school year (more hours) vs. summer (less hours) but may not exceed 30 hours per week consistently.

Director for Indigenous Ministries - Remote Job
This ELCA Churchwide position directs the Indigenous Ministries program of the ELCA through its Service and Justice unit. The primary purpose of this position is to provide voice for Indigenous communities in the ELCA and to respond effectively to the needs of these communities, develop and implement strategic engagements through relationships with AIAN Tribal Nations in the United States and along its border, partners and collaborates with the American Indian Alaska Native Lutheran Association, ministry personnel, provide personnel management consulting, administer budget and grants, monitor and evaluate programs, collaborate with ecumenical partners and agencies in common mission objectives, and engage other expressions of the ELCA in companion relationships. Program Manager, ELCA World Hunger- International
This ELCA Churchwide position is responsible for the quality and accountability of ELCA World Hunger-International active grants and ensures proper grant close-out. Build processes for successful coordination with Development Communications (DevComm) for stories for publications, situation reports and collaborate with the Philanthropy team on special reports to donors. Assists the ELCA-WH Director in accompanying the Area Desks and ecumenical partners in supporting diaconal and sustainable development initiatives. Snow Removal Position
Shovel snow and spread ice melt on Lewis Valley’s sidewalks, outdoor stairs, and lower entrance. (Snow in the parking lots and west side driveway are plowed by the county and are not a part of this job.) This job usually takes about 30 minutes for a light snowfall and 1 hour for a heavier snowfall.
Pay: $500/snow season, paid $62.50/month from October-May (whether or not there is snow in each month)
Location: Lewis Valley Lutheran Church- Holmen, WI, sidewalks, outdoor stairs, and within 15 feet of the lower entrance
Timing: Shovel and spread ice melt within 24 hours of snowfall ending (Except on Sunday mornings – snow needs to be cleared 1 hour before service) If when you shovel the sidewalks and lower entrance the parking lots have not been plowed by the county, you will need to come back within 4-12 hours to clear any spots at the bottom of the steps or edges of sidewalk where plowing may have piled up the snow.
