Explore Faith and Grow with Project Starling

We have a cohort of five members from the La Crosse area synod, along with one person from East-central Synod taking place in Project Starling from Lutheran School of Theology Chicago. This program is an opportunity to provide education to support those who are pursuing synodical authorized ministry (SAM) or simply want to grow ministry skills. Courses include: bible, theology, spiritual leadership and ministry skills. The online learning model provides participants with access to materials and engages them in learning activities at their convenience. The program spans a two-year commitment, that averages 3 hours of study each week, with additional ZOOM monthly meetings as a cohort, along with their synod facilitator.  Our current group has already begun, but if you would be interested in being part of a future cohort group, visit with Bishop or Pastor Meg Eiben Hoversten.

Members: Patti Happel, Tim Iverson , Nealey Janicek (EC WI), Kim Nofsinger, Kris Stauffacher, Peggy Werner and Facilitator, Pastor Margaret (Meg) Eiben Hoversten
