Young Adults in Global Mission

We are a ministry of the La Crosse Area Synod, ELCA. Our goal is to support vital ministries of the synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Individuals and congregations can support the Endowment Fund with gifts of cash or investments, through wills and trusts, memorial gifts, charitable annuities and special offerings. Synod Endowment funds are primarily invested in the professionally-managed ELCA Foundation.
Companion Synod - Czech Republic
Following a resolution passed at the La Crosse Area Synod's 2016 Synod Assembly, the Global Mission Committee pursued establishing a companion synod relationship with the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren (ECCB).
A Companion Synod with us since 2004, click the link above for more info and background regarding our relationship and history with Iglesia Luterana del Perú (the Lutheran Church of Peru). The ILEP, as we once knew it, split into two church bodies, and the ELCA and the La Crosse Area Synod have a relationship with the main body, Iglesia Luterana del Perú or IL-P.
Our efforts in the Middle East help create a a secure Israeli state at peace with its Arab neighbors; and a shared Jerusalem with equal access and rights for Jews, Christians, and Muslims.
