Pastor Paul Drees!

Pastor Paul Drees has served as interim pastor for LuMin (Lutheran Campus Ministry) for the 2023-2024 year. Join us in thanking Pr Paul for his faithful and dedicated ministry.  This interim year has been fruitful and vital. Pr. Paul has connected with students through Thursday suppers which have fed them and nurtured them spiritually and socially.   He has highlighted LuMin in dozens of the synod’s congregations throughout the year. 

On Free Cookie Wednesdays, he has handed out hundreds of cookies—bakedwith love by so many bakers in our congregations and has brought smiles tohundreds of students’ faces. Thank you, Pr. Paul, for this significant year ofinterim ministry at LuMin! Pr. Paul has accepted a call to Mt. Calvary and Tamarack Lutheran Churches in Trempealeau starting in August. Blessings on your ministry in this new call!

LuMin, Lutheran Campus Ministry, a ministry of the La Crosse Area Synod, draws students from the University of Wisconsin—La Crosse, Western Technical College, and Viterbo University into a community with Jesus at the Center—a place where people show up just as they are—with yearnings, questions, curiosities, and passions—and where all are welcomed.
