Synod RIC March Update
After Synod Assembly resolved last June to explore becoming a Reconciling in Christ (RIC) synod, a team formed to move the conversation forward. The team sent a letter explaining the process to all congregations last fall, and they invite you to read it at the link below.
The team also planned the synod’s educational event for clergy in January (more on that soon!) and is now crafting a draft Welcome Statement to possibly present to Synod Caucus next month. Next week we hope to share that draft with you. We’ll also share one person’s story about finding acceptance in an RIC congregation.
