Women from Northeastern Iowa and surrounding synods who are rostered ministers or candidates for rostered ministry are invited to a Women in Ministry retreat Sept. 18-19, 2025.

The retreat with take place at the Camp Ewalu Stone Center, Strawberry Point, Iowa, with the theme “Cultivating Connection” led by Dr. Crystal Hall. Everyone will have opportunities to learn about cultivating confident ministries, connect with one another, relax and create with other women in ministry.

As a former seminary professor, Hall helps bridge the gap between what women know in their heads and the actions they want to take to create truly sustainable ministries. Hall is a certified coach and holds a Ph.D. from Union Theological Seminary in New York. She lives on the Connecticut shoreline with her husband, their son and their cat, Lady Blue.

The retreat will begin with a 10 a.m. worship service on Thursday and will end with a worship service on Friday at 3 p.m. The cost to attend is $100, which includes housing and meals. Registration is due by Thursday, Sept. 4.
