Never fear, Food Ministry for the WINN!

Our [Prince of Peace in La Crescent] Food Ministry team pulled together volunteers and additional ingredients just 36 hours later, to pack 100 sack lunches for unhoused neighbors in partnership with WINN (What I Need Now).

"I love doing every meal we share, but there was something extra exciting about this one. Maybe it was the unexpectedness, the abundant free food and limited labor needed to provide something so great and so quickly. And just like that, WINN had 100 unexpected sack lunches that included two pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ sauce, pickles, bananas, chips & Rice Krispie Treats!"
