Special Requests

  • For the ELCA Presiding Bishop Yehiel Curry. We give thanks to God for faithful leaders who inspire and guide our church to be passionate, creative and tireless in proclaiming the gospel and doing God’s work in the world.

  • For Pastor Meg Hoversten who is on Sabbatical and for Middle Coon Valley Lutheran in Chaseburg, WI where she serves.

  • For Pastor Margo Peterson who is on Sabbatical and for Woodland Lutheran, Nekoosa, WI where she serves.

  • We give thanks for ELCA Youth Ministry and the ELCA Youth Ministry Network. Work through their faith formation programs, leadership training events and resources for youth, and for leaders serving in children, youth and family ministries.

  • For farmers, ranchers and agricultural workers. We give thanks for their vocations and the diverse roles they play in bringing food to our tables and around the world.

  • For the resolution of international conflicts that cause suffering, violence, mistrust, injustice, economic crises and political instability. God forgive us for sometimes playing a role in these conflicts, intentional or not.

  • We pray for Pastor Gloria Stubitsch, Pastor Joanne Richmond and synod staff Alice DaFoe as they fight cancer. We pray that our faith communities will offer steadfast support, care and encouragement to them and their families.

  • We give thanks and praise for God’s inexhaustible grace, which liberates us from despair when we feel ill-equipped to deal with our troubles.
