Congregation Council Development Retreat

Join others serving on congregation councils for a morning of learning and networking together. Discuss council what it means to lead in the current moment and how our own personal experiences and perspective impact decision making, both positively and negatively. You will have time to do a mini decision making process exercise with your fellow council members and look ahead at how you will lead togeher. Network with other council presidents, VPs, treasurers, secretaries, and at-large members.

Cost: $50 per congregation

Schedule:

  • 8:30 am Registration and refreshments

  • 9:00 am Welcome and opening devotions

  • 9:30 am Processing Grief in the Midst of Leadership Challenges

  • 10:00 am Break

  • 10:10 am Guideposts for Decision Making: Mission, Values, & Faith - Group Workshop

  • 11:45 am Closing remarks and blessing
