An annual Saturday gathering of WELCA groups from across the La Crosse Area Synod.

Join others serving on congregation councils for a morning of learning and networking together. Discuss council what it means to lead in the current moment and how our own personal experiences and perspective impact decision making, both positively and negatively. You will have time to do a mini decision making process exercise with your fellow council members and look ahead at how you will lead togeher. Network with other council presidents, VPs, treasurers, secretaries, and at-large members.

Come hear the synod’s finest choirs as they each sing one song , and then joint music.

This year, we are diving deep into Reconciling in Christ Works, featuring sessions on SOGIE (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, and Expression) and Scriptural Engagement

In partnership with Augsburg Fortress, the ELCA is observing the 2026 National Day of Racial Healing with a free online and in-person evening program on Tuesday, Jan. 20. “Just Us Narratives: A Night of Centering Multiracial Voices Across the ELCA” will highlight storytelling as a sacred practice that invites deep listening and reflection.

Learn more about Young Adults in Global Mission with El Egbert, who recently returned to the US after spending a year in Central Europe through the ELCA’s Young Adults in Global Mission (YAGM) program.  She is excited to be visiting LuMin La Crosse as a representative of Young Adult Communities within the churchwide organization to talk more about my experience and other ministry opportunities for young adults.
