Holy Work with Children: Simple Practices for Worship and Prayer

What can congregations do to nurture children's faith more intentionally through worship and prayer? This practical and interactive session will offer simple, adaptable ideas that can be implemented in congregations of any size. Participants will leave with concrete practices, fresh inspiration, and next steps for helping children engage more fully in the worshiping life of the church.
Rev. Dr. Tanya Campen is an ordained deacon in the United Methodist cChurch and serves as educator, researcher, and ministry leader whose work focuses on children's spirituality, faith formation, and congregational life. She serves as Director of Leadership Development and Faith Formation with the Rio Texas Conference of The United Methodist Church, where she equips and supports ministry leaders through research, training, coaching, and resource development. Tanya is the author of Holy Work with Children: Making Meaning Together and is passionate about helping congregations create spaces where children, families, and communities can encounter God, grow in faith, and flourish together.
